Broadway Entertainment Group opened the first ever International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in Istanbul in October 2014 and has since taken the Broadway hit musical to parts of the world it had never seen before, visiting over 15 cities including Ankara, Bangkok, Beirut, Doha, Jakarta, Manila, Macau, and Taipei.

The production has 33 cast members as well as 11 musicians and 16 crew and management, which Broadway Entertainment Group has transported 40,000 km’s by Air, Sea, and Road. As a huge touring production, it takes an entire 747 to transport all the equipment by air, by sea it takes 10 sea containers and by road, it takes 10 trucks.

There are over 300 individual pieces of costume in this production, looked after by the Head of Wardrobe and 9 assistants, which travels in 17 wardrobe gondolas; from earrings and tights to Belle’s iconic yellow dress. And the cast put in 4,752 hours of rehearsals before the tour even begins, once on the road the team put in 72,000 man-hours into the entire tour.
