The producers of The Little Prince have announced the hit show will transfer directly to Broadway after its season at Rooty Hill’s Coliseum Theatre in January.

The show will be the latest part of an Australian invasion of Broadway, joining Moulin Rouge! The Musical, produced by Australian company Global Creatures, and Eddie Perfect’s Beetlejuice, which opens in New York in April.

Tamworth-born Liz Koops is the chief executive of Broadway Entertainment Group, the producers of The Little Prince, which is based on the hugely popular 1943 novella of the same name by French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

After sell-out seasons in France, Dubai, and the Sydney Opera House earlier this year, the cosmic and fantastic world of The Little Prince returns direct from Paris due to overwhelming demand. Making a triumphant return to Australia at West HQ’s Sydney Coliseum Theatre from 1 January 2022 for a strictly limited 3-week season.

Productions will adhere to Dubai World Trade Centre’s ‘Guidelines in Response to COVID-19’ that align with the issued guidance from Dubai Tourism. Health and safety protocols include the appropriate distance between seats and request for the audience to remain seated and wear their masks at all times.
